Disclaimer (Contd,)
While tracing the antecedents of Vedavyasa to Shantanu and Ganga and Satyavati and Parashara, Bhishma, etc, many stalwarts have committed blunders. Parashara actually means the arrow that has moved out of the bow to reach 'para', the Brahman. Satyavati is pure consciousness, the 'sat', the unmanifest potent force. Satyavati is parabrahmasvarupini Shree Sharadamba the divine mother of all that is created.  The iconic images, the esoteric meaning of the nomenclature, the symbolic presentations, and images are all misrepresented by the commentators on the Gita. Actually,  when Sagara Chakravarti's brothers were burnt to ashes  by the ire ( krodhagni) of  a Sage, it was left to Bhagirata to get Ganga to earth and give mukti to them. Bhagirata with his untiring efforts got Ganga to earth in the sense that the radiant energy of Sun reached as pure Consciousness ( rays emitted by Sri Hari Narayana's feet or Devi Mahalakshmi's feet?). The eighth son Vedavyasa, the eighth son of Vasudva-devaki Shee Krishna, or the eighth level of Sahasraar prajnya are all one and the same- located in our own body.
Aham brahasmi or sarvam khalvidam brahma is the principle (tat tvam). It is foolishness to make a brother mate with the diseased brother's wife and breed children like these vichitraveerya's or for that matter producing a blind Dhrutarashtra and a leprosy-skinned Pandu and talking ill of the divine souls that vibrate as jnyan shaktichit hakti, and kriyashakti and the forces operating in the universe creating stars, galaxies, planets and living beings, or for that matter, attribute human nature of sexual indulgences. Even the so called learned men fall into the trap due to the inherent ignorance.  Thus, the entire episode of Gitopadesha should be taken as an intuitional thought that occurs in a sage-mind, an introspective spiritual seeker.
Hence, one has to be very careful and not forget what is said in the main text and what is said elsewhere. Vibhuti yoga clarifies the position as to who is Krishna. Further, the methodology, the technique, the yoga of divine visioning gives the details of experiencing HIM within ourself!
