Learned Sages have symbolically presented Shiva-Parvati-Ganesha in a posture indicating the "Unity-Consciousness" (samyak-prajnya). This is the desired level of attainment for any spiritual seeker. Since the universe is created on the basis of a single formula applicable at all levels- brahmanda, pindanda, and andanda ( the egg / sperm / cell level), the fourteen spheres/ layers of the universe called vyahrutis (loka) are replicated inside as well as the outside of the embodied Soul. Thus, we all have these fourteen levels of consciousness from foot to head (apadamastaka). The seat of Ganesha, parvati, shiva with ganga and chandrakala on his head are indicative of the powers vested within us. The chandrakala is the fountain of elixir (amritasinchana) that is activated when the spiritual sadhaka reaches the sahasrrar and the thousand-petal lotus blooms! So also, the ganga is the highest level of consciousness (shuddha-prajnya).
It is clearly statted that "the Divine Mother comes down from the bejewelled palace of Manipura to svadhishthana and muladhara to help her child when it desires to activate kundalini. And, then the Divine Mother takes the child up the seven chakras to sahasrar where shiva is seated. When Devi parvati, son ganeshs reach him, he will shower the joy and happiness, mahat-ananda.. Then, the Devi returns to her sva-sthana and ganesha, th child goes back to its place in muladhara. All these are symbolic presentations, and the child is none else but, we, the mortals struggling here with hunger,thirst, ill-health and death.
Thus, when the sadhaka attains this highest level with the activation of kundalini, he enjoys supreme bliss (mahadananda). Then, there will be no rebirth on this mrutyuloka, thus has he conquered death; even otherwise, he conquers death since he is devoid of sensuous life and bodily awareness of existence.
This attainment is possible with the help of Divine Mother who is eulogized in Rk Veda Sukta in Mandala X. Thus, with the use of Rk Veda mantra of devi sukta, Sri sukta, Bhu sukta, saraswati sukta, nadi sukta, etc. anybody can activate kundalini and reach this highest level of existence even while living! Vishnu Sahasranaama japa is also said to be very effective in this regard. Bhishma says, a chant of one thousad names of vishnu one can get rid of a days karmakleshas and as it is repeated time and again, one can be pure enough to reach the sahasrar-prajnya.,
However, activation of the Kundalini power, as aforesaid, (previous blog) is something very delicate and difficult to achieve by ordinary mortals. Only yogins may try, but success depends on many extraneous factors and forces operating beyond human limits. However, here is a very easy method.

We all live on the Planet Earth eulogised as the Great Mother in Rk Veda in SrI sukta, dEvi sukta, Bhu sukta, nadi sukta, Saraswati sukta, etc. So our Divine Mother Earth will help us to attain our ambition of attaining the Sahasra through awakening of the Kundalini power.
We are all Ganapati, son of parvati, in a sense, since Ganapati is made of clay (soil) and we are also made of soil (depending on food and water!). The seat of Mother Parvati is svadhishthana cakra, the sva-adhisthana (own place or sva sthana). Above this is the manipura chakra is the Ruler of the Universe, maha samrajnyi, tripureshi.
Once we pray Devi Ma and pray for help, the Divine Mother will help us to take upward crossing the three knots- brahma granthi, vishnu granthi and the rudra granthi, and further up to Sahasrar. Thus the job has become easy with the help of Divine Mother. But, how to get Her attention and help? It is through mantra japa and devi aradhana with full devotion.
