The power and
strength of Alphabets according to Lakshmi Tantra
Lakshmi
Tantra
is an ancient scripture associated with Pancharatra Agama Shastra that has
almost 250 collections, samhitas. The origin of the universe due to sound
(shabda), syllables/ letters/ alphabets (akshara)
and word (pada) are given in this
text. The pada and its artha (meaning or object) create the phenomenal objective world. Thus, sound creates the universe. Hence it is called shabdhabrahman. It is the life-breath, life force, the life-force, pranashakti, infused into jiva that breathes!
